How & Why Islamophobia is spreading more in the West? The shocking facts behind 9/11 and Islamophobia.

0

Someone asked Quaid-e-Azam if you have come to get a vote but first tell us that you are a Sunni or Shia Quaid-e-Azam said I am the one who were MUHAMMAD (PBUH) i.e MUSLIM.

Assalam-u-Alaikum, all friends I hope you are all well. Nowadays we all hear a lot of news about Muslims and non-Muslims, especially from the West. Many incidents appear on the screen daily.

Have you ever wondered what is happening to our Muslim friends and sisters? We see on TV every day that Mosques are being attacked. A non-Muslim killed a Muslim for no reason.

If there is a bomb blast or a major incident, Muslims or Arabs are blamed. The biggest reason for these accusations against Muslims is only one term known as Islamophobia.

But why are they so cruel to Muslims that they do not consider us good? Have you ever thought or bothered to research this subject? I guess you never thought of that and did not try to research.

So this is the page and article where you can easily understand the game that the West is playing with the Muslims.

SOME HISTORY & FACTS ABOUT ISLAM

ISLAM is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion teaching that MUHAMMAD is a messenger of GOD(ALLAH ALMIGHTY)It is the world's second-largest religion with 1.9 billion followers, or 24.9% of the world's population, known as MUSLIMS.

ISLAM is the fastest-growing religion in the world.

MUSLIMS make up a majority of the population in 49 countries.

(CLICK HERE FOR MORE ABOUT ISLAMMoreover, MUSLIMS are divided into two subgroups Sunnis and Shias just as Catholics and Protestants are two subgroups within Christianity. The Sunni-Shia is nearly about 1400 years old.

While the two groups agree on some Fundamental Principals of ISLAM, there are differences in beliefs and practices and some cases, Sunnis do not consider Shias to be MUSLIMS.

With the exception of a few countries, including Iran (which is majority Shia) as well as Iraq and Lebanon (which are divided into both), most nations with a large number of MUSLIMS have more Sunnis than Shias.

In the U.S, 55% identify as Sunnis and 16% as Shias (some who say they are just MUSLIMS).

 ISLAMOPHOBIA

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the word Islamophobia means "Intense dislike or fear of ISLAM" You can understand the word Islamophobia by the phrase Unfriendly feelings toward ISLAM".

As Runnymede’s recent report certifies, "Islamophobia should be understood as anti-Muslim racism".

  •  HOW ISLAMOPHOBIA CAME INTO EXISTENCE

After the 9/11 attack, the gap between MUSLIMS and non-Muslims increased which causes a huge clash of civilizations. Now you will think about what happened on 9/11 ?. What is 9/11 ?. What is the relation between 9/11 and Islamophobia ?.

If I will talk about 9/11 in this article, it can be very long so I am just trying to make you understand the important points about Islamophobia.

If you've completed the article, I hope you understand what 9/11 or September 11 means.

WHAT DIFFICULTIES ARRISE AFTER 9/11 IN THE NON-MUSLIM COUNTRIES                                                      ESPACIALLY IN WEST

Mosques were attacked. Hijab or niqab for women and girls was strictly banned.

Many MUSLIM females faced a lot of barriers in front of them due to the ban on Hijab because our religion ISLAM teaches us that Women should have Parda when going outside even when meeting some guests at home Parda should be maintained.

Especially this problem arises more from the West because they see ISLAM oppositely. They do not like the wearing of hijab for women. Here is a comparison between MUSLIMS and non-Muslim regarding respect for women. This result has been taken from different countries.

Here we can understand that Westerners think that MUSLIMS does not give respect to women and they consider that we give equal rights to them.

These attacks are not only on MUSLIMS also Sikh Community is under the target of Westrians. The Sikh community faced a lot of problems due to the beard and turban on their head. A lot of people were killed there were attacks on temples some Sikhs have been killed.

The reason for these attacks on the Sikh community is that they look very similar to MUSLIMS.

Every non-Muslim knows that MUSLIMS have a beard and wear a cap or turban on their head and women wear hijab, in the Sikh community women are not targeted but men are victims of the West.

Some of the Westerners before 9/11 think that ISLAM is backward culture, savage culture, They don't know how to live a happy life Before 9/11, MUSLIMS are known as Turk.

But after the 9/11 attacks, all were known with the same identity MUSLIM. The bad mindset of the West regarding

MUSLIMS & ISLAM became strong after 9/11 and also there is one more reason which I will discuss later in this article.

This scene is taken from the West nowadays. Some students are friendly with their MUSLIM classmates.

Some MUSLIM students studying in the West face many obstacles. MUSLIM students are not considered good.

Classmates speak harshly to them, even teachers do not cooperate with them. When MUSLIM students go out, everyone looks down on them.

They do not have access to equal rights. People spit on them as they walk along the road. There are many examples and stories of people living in the West.

If anyone's name is MUHAMMAD, he will be tortured. He will not be given the right to speak.

MUSLIMS are isolated from any job interview. As we hear many examples of human rights in the West and even the West is strict on human and even animal rights.

But in the case of the MUSLIM community in the West, where their rights and laws are, what their government is doing, this is how we can judge our friendship with the West.

Here are two stories of MUSLIMS who experienced many difficulties in their life after Islamophobia they wrote their life experience in these stories:

1: Writer, British Black African, female

‘No-one is asking for favouritism, just that we’re given equal opportunity in the job market.’

As a black British MUSLIM woman, I face multiple challenges when it comes to my career opportunities and progression.

I graduated with a 2:1 in my field and was writing during my time at university to build a portfolio and enhance my employability with different media outlets.

I also volunteered regularly and worked as an editor for a publishing company on low pay.

However, when I left university I was unable to even get an internship, let alone obtain an entry-level position in my field.

When I compare myself to white friends and colleagues I notice that I need to work twice as hard for what I want to accomplish.

Maybe it’s my non-English name that means my CV gets overlooked.

When I do manage to get through to interviews, the fact that I am an ethnic minority who also wears the hijab makes them less likely to offer me a job.

My family told me that wearing my hijab was holding me back in the job market and that if I wore it differently it would increase my prospects.

But this is who I am and in 2017 why should I have to change me into something that I don’t recognise?

There are so many institutional barriers that mean people like me are not given jobs based on our merits and skills.

This makes me disillusioned with all of the promises made to me during university and leading up to graduation about what to expect in the world of work.

Institutional, systematic racism and Islamophobia are prevalent but I refuse to give up.

I continue trying my best to break the barriers that I face and find innovative ways of working in my field to make me stand out.

No one is asking for favouritism, just that we’re given equal opportunity in the job market.

 2: Adam’s story London, male

Growing up I didn’t describe myself as Muslim or think much about my Muslim background.

Before 9/11 it seemed easier to have a relaxed or even inactive relationship with ISLAM.

Since then, I have experienced Islamophobia in various ways.

I am regularly stopped by border officials and questioned, often for more than 20 minutes, and a few times for much longer.

People have made assumptions about my views, beliefs or practices, typically presuming I am backward, illiberal or sexist.

As a non-practising MUSLIM, I also hear non-Muslims loosen their tongues about Muslims, asking me as a part-insider about what I think about MUSLIMS, and if they (i.e. MUSLIMS) think or do various terrible things.

They assume I share their identity and sympathize with their arguments about MUSLIMS.

Once, after giving a work presentation,  which didn’t even address religion or MUSLIMS, the first question from the audience was ‘what is your view on female genital mutilation?’

I was initially baffled by the question, but then I realized I was being asked whether as a MUSLIM I supported it and that this was viewed as a reasonable and justifiable question following a presentation that had nothing to do with such issues.

This sort of thing has happened on a few occasions but, in general, secular MUSLIMS like me don’t have the same intensity of Islamophobia compared to more obviously practising MUSLIMS.

But it also shows how no matter what a MUSLIM says or thinks, including whether or not we practise or believe in any religion, we are still always vulnerable to Islamophobic presumptions about MUSLIMS.

One way I have dealt with Islamophobia is to affirm that I am a MUSLIM.

However I self-identify, and whatever my religious or other beliefs, that can’t override the nature and extent of Islamophobia in modern Britain (and beyond).

I’ve also become more conscious about not wanting to be defensive, ashamed or in denial of my background: of course, I’ve got a MUSLIM background, and just as being a Catholic or a Jew in the UK isn’t only or even mainly a question of religious belief or practice, MUSLIMS too shouldn’t be asked or required to deny their ‘Muslimness’.

I’ve also become more irritated with my fellow secular and agnostic citizens, many of whom I think are blind to the discriminatory and terrible consequences of Islamophobia on real people’s lives.

I still don’t believe in religious principles and this can be a challenge too: some MUSLIMS don’t see me as part of their community, and a few will even reject me more explicitly.

I haven’t often challenged people whether MUSLIM or non-Muslim, religious or secular – very much about their Islamophobia and I feel some of this is due to my concerns about expressions of  Islamophobia or another prejudice being directed at me.

Secular MUSLIMS like me are not always less vulnerable to Islamophobia where takes the form of street-level racism and prejudice.

But our relatively ‘invisible difference’ from the white British community means we don’t suffer as much as more observant MUSLIMS (just as orthodox Jewish people are more targeted by racist attackers than are secular Jews).

Our experience isn’t perhaps the most common or most pressing one, but I hope that secular and religious MUSLIMS can better find common ground, and of course, be joined by non-Muslims in better challenging Islamophobia when we see or experience it.

 WHAT WEST THINK ABOUT MUSLIMS

Europe does not follow any religion, they are secular they only follow their laws and human rights. They say that religion is a thing of the past.

The Western class thinks that MUSLIMS are very strict, rigid and inflexible, they think that MUSLIMS are far away from the new world and technology.

They do not know the rights of the people. They spread terrorism. MUSLIMS are cheaters. They believe that MUSLIMS oppress women, they do not have freedom of speech.

The Second reason for the West's dislike of MUSLIMS is that ISLAM promotes tyranny and terrorism. According to the West, ISLAM is an aggressive religion.

They think that due to MUSLIMS, there is the danger of a clash of civilizations.

According to a You Government poll in 2019, 37% of Americans have unfavourable views about ISLAM.

Also, due to Islamophobia, some MUSLIM job holders have to quit their jobs in the West due to harsh behaviour.

HOW WEST IS INVOLVED IN SPREADING ISLAMOPHOBIA

Professor Jack G. Shaheen analyzed Hollywood In-depth and thoroughly, he saw a very common scene According to Professor,

Arab MUSLIMS were shown as a bad community in every drama or show Arab MUSLIMS are shown as a rude villain, heartless, uncivilized characters.

If you want to see such movies here are some names of these movies :

1: BEIRUT

2: 7 DAYS IN ENTEBBE

3: 15:17 PARIS

4: JACK RYAN

There are also some websites that openly propaganda ISLAM like :

        1. ISLAMIST WATCH
        2. JIHAD WATCH
        3. ACT FOR AMERICA

Here is a report of different countries that think that Did Arabs are involved in 9/11 or not. (This report has been taken out from only MUSLIM countries).

The West uses its media to spread Islamophobia and in some cases, the West uses the media of its targeted MUSLIM countries and in return pays them or promotes their media after this.

When a large number of listeners gather on that media channel, the West asks them to spread Islamophobia again.

Some Western centres make a huge amount of money in millions just to attack ISLAM, such as from the above websites and movies or dramas.

Enemies of ISLAM always target MUSLIMS indirectly. So no one can understand what is going on behind them, Everyone will understand that it is in our favour.

  •  WHAT WE CAN DO TO CONTROL ISLAMOPHOBIA

MUSLIMS can control Islamophobia in the following ways :

ISLAMIC Scholars should raise their voices in the media and show the West the true picture of ISLAM and crush the propaganda of the enemies of ISLAM.

The way to spread the true image of ISLAM is through friendly cooperation, affairs and relations with non-Muslims.

So they will understand the true message that ISLAM teaches its followers because our PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) has also cooperated well with non-Muslims.

The PROPHET (PBUH) allowed non-Muslims to perform their religious affairs freely.

  •  HOW WE CAN DEFEAT WEST

In this century, world wars are not fought with swords, bombs or guns.

This is the age of information technology. We have to change ourselves.

If we want to defeat the West, we have to come forward, not by uploading statuses and stories on WhatsApp or Facebookbut by gaining knowledge, by inventing something, by discovering the amazing things that happen in nature.

If after uploading statuses on WhatsApp and Facebook we feel that we have fulfilled our responsibility, then we are living in a fool's paradise because nothing will happen if we upload any incident news on WhatsApp or Facebook

We have to change ourselves we have to work practically and make impossible things possible and see any matter from different angles because enemies of ISLAM are attacking MUSLIMS continuously and indirectly.

We are fully addicted to social media platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp.

If any incident appears publically which is against MUSLIMS like someone bullied Muslim Community we only dare to upload that incident news on WhatsApp or on Facebook posts that's it.

We do not even try to understand the problem even not bother to go to its depth instead of participating in solving the problem we throw this case on the president and prime ministers of the country.

Now if the MUSLIMS want to fight the westerners and give them a tough answer then the only way is to get an education, get disciplined, follow rules and regulations, respect everyone, learn a lot of skills, work hard and defeat the Westerners in themselves.

So they don't even try to think about insulting ISLAM next time.

The need of the hour is to master the latest technology to defeat the West instead of becoming a social media fighter.
